Is the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender part # PVP20B Suitable for use With a Cargo Carrier

Have a 2017 Nissan NV Passenger van. Would like to attach a Magnum hitch n ride cargo carrier. Is this designed just to work with Kuvet bike racks or can it work with a hitch cargo carrier?

Yes the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender part # PVP20B is compatible with a cargo carrier that has a 2" shank. This will allow you good flexibility in being able to get the carrier out of the way when you need to access your van's cargo area. Two things to keep in mind here is that the maximum capacity is 250 lbs. and when using the pivot your hitches cpapcity is reduced by 50 %. So as long as you don't exceed either of those weights you will be in great shape.
