Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Where Both Blinkers Activate at Same Time

If you are seeing both blinkers activate with one of the turn signals on you have a short between these two circuits which is causing them to both light up. Go over the wiring of the two circuits looking for obvious shorts like exposed wire and fix as needed and you should be able to get them to operate like they need to.
