Can I Use An Offset Gooseneck Ball 2019 Ford F-350 Factory Prep So Tailgate Does Not Hit Trailer

Question:

Is there an offset ball hitch for the Ford F350 with the 8ft bed and installed factory puck system? The tailgate hits the front of the trailer and i only need about 2 or 3 inches to fix that issue. Or is there an adjustment on the goose box you can make to move the camper back? Thank you.

I may have an option for you but unfortunately there aren't any hitch balls available with an offset that fit the factory puck system package on the 2019 Ford F-350 SuperDuty.

Since you are using a Reese Goosebox there is not an offset adapter available or a way to move to adjust the goosebox to move the trailer back. The only real option is to remove the Goose Box pin box and replace it with a traditional king pin box. Then you can use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset part # CAB-C5GX1216 which will provide 7-1/2" of offset however, the ride will not be as comfortable compared to the air cushioned Goosebox.
