Which Taillight Bulbs Does RM-154 Flat Towing Diode Wiring Kit Tap Into on 20020 Chevy Colorado

Question:

on my 2020 Colorado, both top and bottom bulbs work in conjunction on each side, when I installed my rm 154 ,I tied into the top bulbs ,which are working fine, do I need to have all 4 bulbs wired for towing ? Will the way I have it ,cause any harm.

When we installed the # RM-154 diode kit on a 2019 Chevy Colorado, we tied the diodes into the top bulb which provides the taillamp, turn signal and brake lamp function. For greater visibility, you could run a jumper to the lower bulb if you wish, but it isn't necessary.

I've linked a to an installation video for a different kit, but the diodes install in the same manner. This video shows the wiring connections in greater detail.
