In order to tow a fifth wheel trailer with a 1999 Ford F-250 you will need a few things in order to get the vehicle setup properly. For starters, you will need a fifth wheel hitch and install kit and for this I recommend the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16115 with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit part # C16443-204 which is a great cost effective option that will work well. It also has custom fit brackets so no drilling into the frame is required.

In order to complete your setup, you may also be interested in the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness part # C56070 for easy hook-ups. In regards to towing ability, if the vehicle's towing capacity exceeds that of the trailer's weight while loaded then you are good to go. That said, you also need to make sure the pin weight of the trailer does not exceed the payload capacity either. The vehicle capacities should be listed in the owner's manual and door tag.
