How Many Key Number Combinations Are Available for Global Link Locks

Question:

Hi, I am looking for a replacement door lock and looking at: Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option - Black Item # 295-000019 To access security I wanted to know how many mechanical key combinations the company has for this lock. The more there are the less likely another camper has a similar key. Thank you,

Global Link RV Entry Door Locks are available with key codes G301-G390, however keyed alike options available through etrailer only include numbers G346-G350.

If you're looking for the most effective way of securing your RV from potential thieves, I recommend the Global Link Ultra E Pro Electronic Lock for Travel Trailers # 295-000183 (right hand) or # 295-000185 (left hand), which uses the same cut out as standard travel trailer locks (3-3/4" tall x 2-3/4" wide).

It has a built in touch pad on top of the integrated deadbolt system so if someone wanted to break in, and they somehow had all the time in the world to figure out the combination to unlock it, they still wouldn't be able to open the latch without the using the key to unlock the deadbolt. The lock will actually make a pretty loud beeping noise anytime the wrong combination is entered, also acting as an alarm. You do however have the option of leaving the deadbolt unlocked, so that all you need to do to enter your RV is to input the code on the touch pad. This is nice for when you're actively going in and out of it.

Sure, if someone really wanted to break in, they could try to pick the locks, but most theft is really based on opportunity so if someone sees an more modern RV lock with a keypad, they are more likely to move right along.
