How much does this stick out from the top when closed? We have a low clearance garage.

The MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent part # MA00-04751KSX will be 3.25 inches over the roof line of your trailer when installed.
To ensure proper installation I recommend using the Roof Vent Installation Kit part # 344270KITW. This will have all of the sealant and screws that you will need to make your vent water tight and ready for use after just a short drying period. I linked a video showing an installation.
