Do Demco Hijacker Autoslide Hitches Fit Most Standard Pin Boxes
Question:
Is there any pin box that is not compatible with the demco autoslide 18k? I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 25004x4 short bed crew cab. I just ordered this hitch with the mounting kit and don’t know if I will need anything else. The trailer I just purchased is a Winnebago scorpion 3480. I don’t know what the box is yet

The Demco Hijacker autoslide hitches like the # DM8550034 basically fit all pin boxes with a few exceptions that require capture plate type adapters. These are typically cushioned pin boxes which from looking at your picture it looks like you have a standard type of pin box and would not need any adapters. Several of the cushioned pin boxes end up not needing adapters as well.
