2019 Chrysler Pacifica Limited S Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommandation

I need to get a hitch and wiring for the four pole flat and a seven pin round for my 2019 Chrysler Pacifica limited S. I need replacement wiring kit for a ProdigyP2 brake controller that I removed from another vehicle. Also would like to know the towing capacity that I will have. I did some reading on your other post and the factory installation allows something like 3000 pounds but I’m worried the aftermarket won’t give me that.

We have exactly what you'll need. Let's start with the hitch. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76046 is a great choice. It has the highest capacity of all of the others and already has a bracket for attaching your 7/4 way connector.

Now on to wiring you need to start with the 4-way as you said and I like the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118712. This will give you the ability to then add on Part # ETBC7 this is the brake controller installation kit. This has both the 4-way and 7-way connector so it will eliminate any adapters. Install this per the instructions and use the Replacement Brake Control Plug-In Harness for Tekonsha and Draw-Tite Brake Controller 12" Long part # 20127 to connect to that P2 and make the standard connections.

As far as towing capacity is concerned I looked in the owners manual and the maximum is 3600 lbs. trailer weight and 360 lbs. tongue weight. with the trailer towing package. Without the towing package it is 1500 lbs. and 149 lbs. With that said we never recommend you exceed your vehicle's stated capacity.
