According to Yakima, the MegaWarrior Extra Large Cargo Basket, # Y07080, will fit on the factory crossbars on your 2004 Infiniti QX56. Be sure you check your vehicles roof weight capacity to ensure it can handle the weight of the cargo basket, 35 lbs, plus the weight of the load you are carrying. This cargo basket has a weight capacity of 130 lbs.
For the best stability while driving, it is recommended to have at least a 30 inch crossbar spread. The crossbar spread is the distance from the center of one crossbar to the center of the other. I have attached the installation instructions and a video for you to check out.
