Ground Clearance of Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2011 Honda CR-V
Question:
what height is to be selected for the hitch point on the towing vehicle from the ground?

When we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13555 on a 2011 Honda CR-V, we found it has a height of 15-3/4 inches from the top of the receiver to the ground.
This is part of the formula you will use to find the correct ball mount, with the other being the height from the trailer coupler to the ground - the difference will be the rise or drop you need (if the coupler is higher you need that amount of drop; if the receiver is higher you need that amount of rise). I've added a link to a help article with this info as well as a link to our selection of ball mounts.
To complete your towing set up you will need a trailer wiring harness for your 2011 Honda CR-V, the
T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118427.
I have added a link to a video install on a 2011 CR-V for you to check out of that harness as well as the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13555.
