Connecting Safety Chains When Towing with a Pintle Hitch
Question:
Hello, How do you go about connecting safety chains with this pintle hook? Thank you

Expert Reply:
Usually loops for the safety chains are on the hitch receiver because a pintle hitch like the Buyer's Products # 33710045 you referenecd often connects to a mount the B&W # BWPMHD14003 which slides into a receiver.
If this isn't how yours is going to be setup another way is to weld D-rings onto the tow vehicle like is shown in the picture. Part # 337B46 works for this.r
We also carry hitch plates that fit certain vehidles or can be fabricated to fit any vehicle. I've linked our selection for you.
