Anti-Rattle Recommendation for Use with High-Low Adapter While Flat Towing
Question:
I ordered High-Low Adapter RM-048-8 for use with flat towing behind our RV. I have not had a chance to check how much play there will be, but I am curious if I will potentially want to use an immobilizer at the RV hitch where the High-Low Adapter slides in and then another immobilizer on the High-Low Adapter where the shank of the tow bar slides in. Would you recommend two immobilizers on a high-low adapter set up?

You definitely can use 2 anti-rattle devices when flat towing with the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter # RM-048-8.
I recommend using 2 of the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061 because it was made specifically for this type of application and is used to essentially clamp down on the shank of the adapter as well as the shank of the tow bar. I have attached a review videos of the Quiet Hitch for you to check out.
