Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2016 Mercedes Sprinter

Can I use this Tekonsha 90250 Prodigy RF Electronic Brake Control and just get an adpater from 4 to 7 wire.

I'd be happy to tell you all the parts you'd need to install a brake controller in your 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 2500. Since it does not have a 4-way you would need to install harness # 118649 before using the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. You were also correct that a brake pedal switch, Roadmaster's # RM-751475, will be necessary for your Sprinter.

Topic: Question About a Product Vehicle: 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 I need trailer wiring and brake controller for a 2016 Mercedes-Benz sprinter 2500. The unit did not come with any stock trailer hitch or wiring.

If you used the adapter part # ETBC7L you could use a Prodigy RF brake controller but the RF isn't made currently so you may have a hard time finding one. A better option would be the Echo part # C51180 which would use same adapter and be super easy to install.
