Replacement Vent Cover or Complete Vent Assembly for a Pace Trailer
Question:
Which is the correct replacement for this trailer? Can I just replace the plastic or does the whole assembly need to be replaced? Everything looks riveted and gooped. Will I risk damage to the roof if I need to remove the existing frame?

You may be able to just replace the vent cover. You would need to know the vent manufacturer and its approximate age. This information may be on the vent somewhere. If you cannot find this information, you will need to look at the type of hinge you have and then compare that to the pictures of the hinges for the covers we carry on the product pages.
The cover you have referenced, # BV0554-03, is designed for Standard Ventadomes and Post-1995 Elixir Trailer Roof Vents.
Replacing the entire vent is a possibility if you have a 14-1/2 inch square opening once the old one is removed. To avoid damaging the roof while removing the old one I recommend having a professional at an RV dealer perform the installation.
