Hi. I am looking to confirm the best trailer hitch option for my 2020 Audi SQ5 and if it will impact the lift gate sensors or cause any type of permanent modifications or damage to the vehicle mine is leased. The intended use is to haul a boat and trailer. Will it support that and what accessories might I need? Thank you!

My recommendation for your 2020 Audi SQ5 with lift gate sensors is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76183. The sensors will only be limited where the center receiver is located. No lasting modifications to the vehicle are needed.
If you need the trailer wiring as well, I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT. This doesn't require any splicing into the factory wiring and can be moved from one vehicle to another if desired in the future.
