5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Fit for 2019 Ford F-350 Long Bed With B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck

Question:

Hello Kyle, Thanks for the response to my question. I should have added that I have looked at the B&W Companion and understand it is a great product; however I am needing a 25K 5th wheel hitch option. The Companion rates out at 20K. Any other suggestions? Cheers

You can definitely add a 5th wheel hitch to your 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty long bed with the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1116-5W, though the Curt hitch won't fit. The only 5th wheel hitch that will fit is actually a better hitch than the Curt, and is widely considered the best 5th wheel hitch in the industry:

- B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W

The Companion will mount directly in the Turnoverball so you can tow either a 5th wheel trailer with the Companion or a gooseneck trailer with the Turnoverball.

The jaws on the Companion are 1 inch thick, and this robust jaw system is the key reason why the Companion - more than any other fifth wheel hitch - minimizes the chucking, jarring and noise that can occur when towing a fifth wheel trailer, and one of the main reasons people love it so much. As evidence of this you can see that this hitch has been reviewed some 800 times by our customers (as of this writing), and they have given it a nearly unanimous 5-star rating.

So there is one other option, but since there are no hitches that you can use with a capacity over 25,000 lbs, the absolute maximum capacity you can get is 24,000 lbs, and that would be with the use of an adapter: - Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100 What this does is attach to your 5th wheel trailer's pin box and essentially turns it into a gooseneck coupler, allowing you to use your gooseneck hitch to pull your 5th wheel trailer. This is the only other option for you, though there are a few things to keep in mind with this adapter. It does require you have a standard pin box as opposed to a cushioned pin box, and the measurement from the bottom of the king-pin plate to the top of the gooseneck ball when the trailer and truck are level must be between 11-3/4" and 14-3/4" for the adapter to work. It is also recommended you use Slide Hammer for Ranch Hitch 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3103 to help make the installation easier.
