Offset Hitch Gooseneck Ball and 5th Wheel Trailer to Gooseneck Hitch Adapters

I bought a truck , that has a 25/16 ball under the bed, which I have to release to raise. It will not hook to my camper which is a fifth wheel. The camper will hit the tail gate before it reaches existing ball. Wlll the extend a ball move it back far enough to hook it up?

The Curt offset ball, # C602, is designed for use with the Double-Lock, Flip and Store gooseneck hitches. If you have a different hitch then this ball is not going to fit. You will need to go by the hitch manufacturer to get a compatible ball.

If the trailer is a 5th wheel trailer and not a gooseneck trailer then you will need an adapter to be able to tow the trailer. A 5th wheel king pin is not compatible with a gooseneck hitch ball. The best option is the Goosebox, # RP94716, for Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD, and Fabex PB-600 Series pin boxes. Or # RP94716-61301, for Lippert 0115, 1116 and 1716 pin boxes.

Another option is to use the Andersen adapter, # AM3100. I have included some links on these products for you.
