Will Trailer Hitch for 2020 Rav 4 Hybrid Limited Impact Liftgate Sensors
Question:
Hi Folks, On both the Curt and Draw-Tite 2inch hitches respectively, the information says it MAY interfere with the Lift Gate Sensors. Will it or wont it? And if the answer is yes it will, is there a work around, such as a relocation kit for the sensor? Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13416 and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # DT82QR will only have hands free limitations at the center where the receiver tube is. You won't need to relocate any sensors and you won't lose function in the other areas as those sensors will still work just fine. The manufacturer puts those disclaimers in almost all of the hitches to cover liability.
We have installed this hitch and there won't be any major interference. I've attached the installation videos to assist.
