Comparing Yakima HoldUp EVO, the Thule T2 Classic, and the Thule T2 Pro XTR + 2-Bike Add-On

Question:

Im trying to decide between the Thule T2 Classic, the Thule T2 Pro and the Yakima Holdup EVO for 4 bikes. We have kids bikes and adult bikes. I think the front release to fold down the rack on the Yakima. Which of these would you recommend?

Out of the Yakima HoldUp EVO # Y02479-2, the Thule T2 Classic # TH9044-TH9046, and the Thule T2 Pro XTR with 2-bike add on, parts # TH83JV and # TH9036XT, I recommend the T2 Pro XTR hands-down.

All 3 bike racks are great options and feature really useful things, but the T2 Pro XTR has the most weight capacity, weighs 20 lbs less than the HoldUp EVO, and is has that handle release at the rearmost part of the carrier as opposed to the forward-most part of the carrier like the T2 Classic. The handle feature alone is going to save your back and make it so that you can use that tilting feature much more easily - especially if you have 4 bikes loaded up. It essentially allows 1 stronger person to tilt the rack instead of having 2 people to operate that feature (1 to hold the rack and 1 to press that lever).

Attached are review videos for each that you can reference if you haven't already.
