How to Determine Safety Chain Weight Capacity
Question:
I have a boat trailer i dont know the boat wight or the trailer i know it has a 3500lb alxe , is 3500lb safty chain ok for the trailer

The safety chains need to exceed the loaded weight of the trailer not the axle capacity. If the loaded weight of your trailer is significantly under 3500 lbs then a 3500 lb safety chain is fine. I have attached a link to all of the safety chains that we carry for your reference.
