The wiring harness that comes with the Optronics Submersible Trailer Light Kit, # TL5RK, is a wishbone wiring harness meaning there are 5 wires coming out of the back of the 4-pole flat connector. You will have one white wire for the ground, one yellow wire for the left turn and brake signals, one green wire for the right turn and brake signals and two brown wires for the tail lights.
The reason there are two brown wires for the tail lights is to make it easier for you to run the wires down both sides of the trailer for your left and right side tail lights and marker lights. This eliminates the hassle of only having one brown wire and having to splice an additional length of wire to reach different sides of your trailer.
I have attached an installation video of a trailer light kit with a wishbone wiring harness for you to check out. The trailer light kit that is used is slightly different, but the wiring harness is the exact same harness.
