The factory roof rack on a 2018 Ford Escape uses a pretty standard size crossbar so you can use most kayak carriers that work with aero shaped crossbars. The Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier w/Tie-Downs part # TH834 is an excellent option which comes with all the tie-downs needed. If you will be wanting to carry multiple items on the roof then this style of carrier will be best.
