Question:
I have a Curt 2 bike platform bike rack and want to incorporate a Darby Extend-A-Truck kayak carrier to the bike rack, so I can transport my bikes and boats at the same time. Last summer my boats and roof rack came off the roof of the car...so im not trusting roof racks. Any suggestions on the best way to do this would be VERY helpful thank you

On your 2016 Ford Focus, we only have an option like that if you have the Hatchback RS. The EcoHitch # 306-X7355 is the only 2 inch receiver and is only a fit for the Hatchback RS.
The Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier w/ Hitch Mounted Load Extender and Single-Bar Roof Rack # DTA944-968-924 can work to carry your kayaks as long as from the receiver to the roof line is 53-3/8 inches or taller. It seems to me that the bar would need to be cut down and holes drilled for the correct height.
The distance from center of hitch pin hole to upright bar of the Darby carrier is 9-1/2 inches so you would need a dual adapter and a bike rack that is more than 11-1/2 inches from the hitch pin to the closest part of the rack. For the dual adapter, the # MPG544 will work and then you can use # TH934XTR for your bikes.
