Roof Rack For Both a 2018 Honda CR-V and 2006 Nissan Altima

I own a 2018 Honda CR-V and a 2006 Nissan Altima. I’m looking at the Rhino Inno, are there any interchangeable parts?

I do have options for you but there are not any interchangeable roof rack parts with any of the brands between the 2006 Nissan Altima and 2018 Honda CR-V. The Honda and Nissan use different length cross bars and different feet with fit kits. Honestly removing a traditional roof rack and putting it on another vehicle each time you want to use it is not practical because it will require some work, measuring and tools each time.

I recommend the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack part # 298-SX6000B which is designed to be easily removed for storage. This rack be used on either vehicle. It utilizes vacuum cups to attach to the roof with a pull strength of 210 lbs per cup. I know it seems like vacuum cups would not be very reliable but SeaSucker came to visit us last year, everyone pulled on the cups as hard as they could and they did not budge. I have attached a video for your reference.

If you decide to go with 2 separate roof racks for each vehicle, I recommend Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars part # RRVA137S-2, part # RRRLKVA for the legs and part # DK284 for the fit kit if your 2018 Honda CR-V does not have raised roof rails.

If your 2018 Honda CR-V has raised rails, I recommend part # RRVA126S-2 for the bars, part # RRRCL4 for the legs and part # RRRCP60-BK for the fit kit.

For the 2006 Nissan Altima, i recommend part # RRVA118S-2 for the bars, part # RRRLKVA for the legs and part # DK041 for the fit kit.

The Rhino Rack brand is a good quality but cost effective option.
