Compatibility of 2 Inch Hitch Receiver for 2019 RAV4 Hybrid XSE
Question:
I have read very contradictory on what class trailer hitch a RAV4 Hybrid XSE can take. The dealership stated a class 2 while different strakker and other websites state a class 3 on a RAV4 hybrid is allowed as well. Do you know the correct hitch for this crossover? Thank you,

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # DT82QR and the Curt # C13416 are both Class III trailer hitches compatible with your 2019 Toyota RAV4 hybrid. The dealer is likely referring to the OEM hitch options which may be more limited but these aftermarket hitches are confirmed to fit your vehicle and won't impact your warranty.
