Will 2015 Silverado crew cab running boards fit a 2006 Silverado crew cab?

There was a large enough difference between the 2015 and 2006 Chevy Silverado Crew Cabs that running boards from one truck would not fit the other. Since you have a 2006 you'd want the part # 21-1955 and you'd be set.
