Is There a Difference Between Buyers Products Pintle Hooks # 337PH55 and # 337PH50

Question:

hi what is the main difference between a 337ph50 buyers hitch and a 337ph55? I know there are more holes but why? they are both rated 50 ton and can take a 20ton young weight. the ph 55 weighs a lot more why? the truck dealer could not answer the questions. thanks

It's really just a different bolt hole setup for either. The # 337PH50 has 6 bolts and the larger # 337PH55 has a 10 bolt setup. This gives a little more flexibility in how it can mount but overall either will do just as good of a job as the other.
