Recommended Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 2014 Audi Q5 Hybrid
Question:
Hi, I have a 2014 Audi Q5 Hybrid, and wondered if you have anything that will allow me to tow about 4000 to 4400 lbs. I got a Polaris RZR from my work and wanted to see if I can install something to tow it. Kind regards,

I recommend using the Curt # C13136 on your 2014 Audi Q5 Hybrid, which will provide you with a 2" hitch receiver that is well suited for towing a trailer. It looks like your Q5 hybrid has a 4400-lbs towing capacity, so you'll want to make sure that you stay under that to avoid damaging your vehicle, but this hitch will allow you to tow up to that capacity.
Since you're going to be towing, you'll also need trailer wiring, a ball mount and hitch ball to complete your towing setup. For wiring I recommend using the Curt # C56404 because it will tee into the plugs behind your tail lights to allow for an easier installation than some of the other available kits. This harness will provide you with a 4 way connector for your trailer lights. To complete your towing setup I recommend using the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 since it comes with 2 ball mounts with varying rise/drop, 2 hitch balls (1-7/8" and 2") plus a hitch pin, clip and carrying bag to keep everything stored when not in use.
I've linked some review and installation videos of these parts for you to have a look at, as well.
