Highest Rated 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500 Without Pucks

Question:

I have a 2020 SIlverado 3500 HD. I did not come with the under bed tow package. Will this fit so I can have a clean bed with at least 25k weight and what hitches will work?

The highest rated fifth wheel hitch available for a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 without prep package is the Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16180 which is rated for 25,000 lbs. In order to install the Curt A25 you will need to use the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit part # C16429-204. The Curt A25 is a great setup, one of my favorites actually due to the secure interlocking dual jaw design which limits movement.

Unfortunately, you will be stuck with rails in the truck bed as there are no options currently which have the capacity needed.
