Recommended Bike Rack for 2018 Toyota C-HR

Hello, My name is Michael and I just recently bought a Trek Dual Sport 2. and I am looking for a bike carrier for the back of my car and to store my bike when driving to the beach. I was looking at the Saris Bones 2 Bike Carrier and I was wondering if it would fit on a 2018 Toyota CHR Premium, if it was compatible with it? Thank you.

I have a solution for you, but there are no trunk mounted bike racks that are a confirmed fit on your 2018 Toyota C-HR, so you won't be able to use the Saris Bones 2 # SA805BL. Instead you would need to install a hitch like the Curt # C11567, which has a 1-1/4" receiver, and then use a hitch mounted bike rack. This rack installs by bolting onto the frame of your vehicle without any drilling required, so it's a relatively easy installation process that can be completed with some basic hand tools.

A good value bike rack to carry your Trek Dual Sport 2 that will fit in the 1-1/4" receiver on the Curt # C11567 is the Swagman Titan # S63400. This bike rack will tilt away from the rear of the vehicle to allow you access to the rear cargo area of your vehicle, so it's a great for both long and short trips. This rack comes with a built-in cable lock and you can add the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # S64029.
