Comparing Thule and Yakima Roof Racks For Durability On a 2018 Honda Pilot
Question:
I have a 2018 Honda Pilot with a bare roof. I live near saltwater and am trying to decide between Thule and Yakima racks. Would one hold up better around saltwater than another?

The Thule and Yakima roof racks are both excellent options for a 2018 Honda Pilot. In regards to durability, it would really be hard to make an argument for one being better than the other as they both use pretty much the same materials and all parts are coated. That said, rust/corrosion is not really an issue we hear about for roof rack. I prefer the Yakima Jetstream Crossbar System part # Y00426, part # Y28TR, and part # Y06152 which is currently the most cost effective.
