Question:
How do I tell if I have a 10, 11 or 12 Dexter axles? On a 2004 R-Vision Trail-Lite Model 8306S, tandem axle, 30 foot 9 inch pull behind travel trailer, 14 inch tires, GVWR weight is 6253, side mounted axles. Really could use some more ground clearance. Thanks!

The Dexter Axle Torflex axles are basically broken up into the following categories:
#9 - 1,000 - 2,200 lb
#10 - 2,300 - 4,000 lb
#11 - 4,100 - 6,000 lb
#12 - 5,500 - 7,200 lb
Based off of your 2004 R-Vision Trail-Lite Model 8306S being a tandem axle and having a GVWR of 6,253 lbs I'd guess that you have 2 of the #10 Torflex axles on your trailer so you'll need the lift kit # K71-707-02. This gives you a 2-5/8" lift and will fit unless you have 3" high profile brackets.
If your axles have the top mount configuration then you also need the hardware kit # DX54FR.
You should be able to verify the axle number by comparing the weight rating on your axle tag with the list I provided. If you still aren't sure go ahead and send me a picture of the tag on your axle and I can help you out!
