I have the R line VW 2019 Jetta with duel exhaust. I was told that a trailer hitch will not fit the 2019 VW R Line Jetta

You were told correctly; there are no trailer hitch fits for a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta with dual exhaust, but you can still carry bikes or cargo.
