Ball Mount and Hitch Balls for 2018 Ford Escape Titanium

Question:

If I can't use the anti-rattle one is there a dual ball mount that I can use without the anti-rattle?

The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the anti-rattle device on the Solid Tow # DTSTBM6600 is right at 2", so it's not going to work if you've got only 1-1/2"; this also does not come with a 1-7/8" hitch ball. For these reasons it's really not going to be a good choice.

What I recommend doing is using a regular rise/drop ball mount with a 6" drop like the Draw-Tite # 40346, which fits in a 2" receiver and uses hitch balls with 1" shank diameters. For a 1-7/8" hitch ball you'll want to use the # 19260 and for a 2" ball use the # C40004. This will allow you to tow trailers with either size coupler by just swapping out the ball mount. When it comes to security and anti-rattle devices I recommend using the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 2-5/8" Span # 63232 which will work to reduce rattle, and keep your ball mount secured to the tow vehicle.

I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to have a look at, as well.

You can use the Flash E Series Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w Chrome Balls - 2" Hitch - 6" Drop, 7" Rise # FA42-00-2600 and replace the dual ball in it with the Replacement Chrome Double Ball for Fastway and Diversi-Tech Ball Mounts - 1-7/8" and 2" # DTBM23. Going with these parts would allow you the setup that you're looking for. I would recommend using an anti-rattle clamp like the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061 to keep the shank from causing too much noise. I've linked some review videos of these parts, as well.
