I was wondering if you could get a brake light lens with the number SAE STIAP2 04 DOT

Expert Reply:

The SAE STIAP2 04 DOT number you provided is a DOT approval number, which states that the lens is compliant with DOT regulations. Because of that, that number isn't typically a good identifier for finding a replacement lens. However, in this case, we previously had a customer send in a photo of this particular lens which we managed to match up to the Optronics part # A39RB which is a replacement for their # ST36RB and # ST37RB taillights or a Wesbar 3571.

The lamp housing should have a part number on it somewhere which would lead to a more sure identification, but you can compare your existing lamp to what's shown in the products I've linked and to the diagram I've provided which shows the dimensions of the lamp.

If after looking at the photos and diagram, you see that this ISN'T the correct replacement lens, find the part number on the lamp housing itself. Reply with that number, and I'll search for a replacement.
