The Furrion 7-way power adapter for Furrion Vision S systems # FR87PR is not needed on a 2018 Chevy Sivlerado. This adapter is only needed on the 2019 model trucks as their running light circuit does not have the amperage for the Furrion side camera kits.

That being said if you're experiencing issue with your camera's signal I recommend splicing in the PWM Filter # VGR64VR behind the camera to ensure the camera is getting a steady current. This solution is a more permanent fix rather that having to plug in an adapter every time you want to tow.
