Best Tow Bar for Flat Towing a 2002 Jeep Wrangler

I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler and want to start towing it behind my RV. I looked into the Roadmaster Nighthawk but what is the best Tow Bar I should get? thank You

The Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-676 is the cream of the crop when it comes to tow bars, with its long arms, LED lights, integrated safety cables and light weight that makes it easy to handle. So it is the best tow bar for your 2002 Jeep Wrangler, just note that you will also need the Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly # 910021-00 for use with the recommended base plates for your 2002 Wrangler, the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 1420-1.

There is also a more budget-friendly option you may want to consider, which also does not require the adapter, which is the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522. This bar is heavier than the Nighthawk and does not have LED lights or safety cables - so you'd need the Roadmaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643 - but it is overall the less expensive option and does not need an adapter.

The other parts you'd need to flat tow your 2002 Wrangler are:

- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400
- Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
- For a motorhome with air brakes: Demco SBS Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motorhomes with Air Brakes # SM99243

You may also need a high-low adapter such as # RM-070 in order to keep your tow bar level, and I've added a link to a help article which shows you how to determine if you need an adapter, as well as a link to our selection of adapters. Additionally, I have added links to instruction manuals, video reviews and installations for you to take a look at.
