2014 Honda Ridgeline Pickup Compatibility Issues With Topline 1 Bike Carrier Truck Bed Mounted Rack

Topline 1 Bike Carrier Truck Bed Mounted Expandable Bike Rack. I have a 2014 Honda Ridgeline my question is why won’t it fit? Is there away to adapt it?

Lets see if we can get your bike to where you want to go!

The issue with the Topline bike rack and your Ridgeline is the space, or lack of space, under the top side rails of your bed. Randy goes into detail on the install in his video I attached for you.
Watch the whole video if you have time, but if you're looking to see the fit issue, check out the video around 1:34. This will give you a better understanding of why it will not fit.

Depending on what bike you have, we offer many other options. If you would like to fork mount your bike, here are my recommendations. Both are variants of the RockyMounts Loball Truck Bed Bike Carrier. # RKY1096 # RKY1095

There are a few small differences, but one major difference is that one is locking ( # RKY1096 ) and the other does not lock ( # RKY1095 ).

I recommend getting the locking bike mount just to give you the added comfort whenever you leave your bike in the bed unattended. Whenever there is a locking option I always go for it. That's just me!

If you are NOT a fan of drilling to install and you have factory tracks in your truck, I would recommend getting the other variant of the LoBall, Part # RKY1097. This variant will utilize your factory track system in your bed (if you have one), which requires no drilling.

If you do not have the bed tracks, you do not want to drill into your bed and/or do not want to fork mount your bike... I would recommend a tailgate pad. We have A LOT of options on our website and i have used EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. I recommend the Softride Shuttle Pad # SR26461. This is an extremely economical option that will allow up to 6 bikes at once.

It lets you take your bikes where you want, compatible with almost any bike, doesn't take up a whole lot of space in your bed, and the best part is... you can put it on ANY TRUCK.. so if you are going with friends and one of them wants to use their truck instead of yours.. You can take the pad off in seconds and put it on in seconds.

All the products I have included will be great for getting your bike to and from the spot. Just pick whichever one you think will work best for your specific application.
