Timbren Axle Less Kit that Can Fit Jeep 5 on 5-1/2 inch Bolt Pattern Hub
Question:
Im building a offroad trailer for my Jeep and Im looking at the Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4 Lift Spindle - Regular Tires - 3,500 lbs #ASR35HDS05. I dont know what hubs to purchase that will fit my Jeep JKU wheels which are the 5 on 5-1/2 pattern. Is this the correct part? Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 5 on 5-1/2 Item # 84555UC1-EZ. Does Timbren make a 5 on 5-1/2 hub?

Expert Reply:
The 3,500 Timbren Axle Less kits like the part # ASR35HDS05 you referenced actually have 6k spindles on them so for hubs you have to go with the higher rated setups which unfortunately don't have any options in the Jeep bolt pattern you need. Could you get by with a lower rated Timbren Axle Less like the part # ASR1THDS03 which is a 2,200 lb axle and has 3,500 lb spindles so the hub you mentioned # 84555UC1-EZ would fit.
