Is there a Fuse that Needs to be Installed on a 2004 Honda Element for Wiring Harness

If my trailer has side running lights, can I just remove the bulbs to prevent overloading the system? Also, in the cars fuse box I assume somewhere in the dirvers area, is there a fuse that needs to be installed for the trailer lighting system?

There should be a 7.5 amp fuse that will need to be installed in the fuse box when you install the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118336.

You will need to check with your local regulations and laws to determine if you need to have side clearance lights on your trailer before you remove them.

Another option to reduce the amperage draw on your trailer would be to convert the lights on the trailer to LEDs as they draw considerably less than incandescent bulbs. Check out the link I provided that has all of the LED tail lights we offer.
