Are Their Some Trailer Tires that Don't Require Full Max PSI Rating in Them

Im reading an expert say use the maximum psi as put on the tire, My 2400LB trailer factory tires used 50 psi, the new E rated trailer says maximum 85 PSI are you saying use 85 psi? That is going against what I heard for my dealer and what I thought the tire manufacturer chart I read. showing the weight of the trailer to PSI I should use, so I, dont overinflated bundle the tires, have the best contact to the ground, wear them out sooner, and have a blowout.

Expert Reply:

In general most trailer tires require full max PSI inflated in them at all times with a very few exceptions. I don't know what tires you have but if there is an inflation chart for them based on load I'd go with that to find the correct PSI. This is the case for Goodyear Endurance trailer tires.

I attached a link to all of the Goodyear tires we offer as well.
