Hi - I havent seen any posts relating to the 2013 X5 35I model for best trailer hitch and ball combo. Any suggestions on the most efficient model for installation and performance? Thanks,

For your 2013 BMW X5 35i I recommend going with the following towing equipment:
Curt Trailer Hitch - # 13077
Tekonsha ZCI Wiring - # 119250KIT
Ball Mount Kit - # 989900
The Curt hitch has the hidden crosstube and only measures 4" from the hitch pin hole to the bumper, the ZCI wiring uses clamps to connect to your OEM wiring so you won't be splicing into your wiring, and then the ball mount kit is a good overall solution because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
