Question:
I had this installed on my 5th wheel when I converted over to hydraulic brakes. I was pulling this trailer with a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 when etrailer installed the Hydrastar brake system. I now have a 2019 GMC 3500 but have not pulled the trailer yet. Do I need to remove this module to have the brakes operate properly with the newer truck.

The HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes - 1,600 psi # HBA16 you have installed will not require the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module for Ford and Chevy Brake Controllers # HBA-CAM with your 2019 GMC 3500. The 2018 and newer models are directly compatible without the adapter.
