Can 2017 Ram 2500 Tow 7,000 lb Trailer with 20 inch Hitch Extender

Question:

I have a 2017 Ram 2500. I pull a travel trailer that weighs 7000lbs and I use stabilizer bars and sway bars. Im wanting to add a diamondback bed cover so I can add 2 atvs on the bed of the truck to take with us camping. along with the travel trailer With this cover, I would need to extend the hitch out 20 inches. I guess my question is, would this be possible? Does etrailer have any sort of hitch extension that would help with this load? Truck tongue weight is rated at 1800lbs current trailer tongue weight 678lbs Appreciate any help you could provide

There is a way to get the extension you want plus have the weight capacity needed as well but you'll have to install the Torklift SuperHitch part # TLD1109-30 on your 2017 Ram 2500 so that you can use their SuperTruss hitch extender part # TLE1521 which is 21 inches long. All other options won't have the weight capacity needed.
