Recommended 5 on 5 Brake Hub with Parking Brake for Timbren Axle-Less Suspension ASR1THDS02
Question:
I am looking for a brake hubs to fit a Timbren axle-less one tonne long arm axle, ASR1THDS02. I would like it to have parking brake capabilities. What is the measurement from the frame rail to the brake hub face with the part suggested? What is the sipgot size so I can size my rim center bore? what is the amount that the sipgot extends from the hub face so I can size the center cap on wheel? This is for an off road trailer. I appreciate your help and your team is great! Thank you

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - Spindle w/Brake Flange - Off-Road Tires - 2,200 lbs # ASR1THDS02 has a frame rail to hub face dimension of 8-1/2 inches. It uses the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 5 - Pre-Greased # AKHD-550-35-EZ-K and you can use the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit w/ Parking Brakes - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K # K23-086-087-00 will work with this to give you that parking brake.
The pilot hole measurement isn't as much of an issue as you might think because trailer wheels/rims are lug centric and not hub centric. This just means the lug nuts will be used to center your wheels on the hubs so the center pilot hole can be any size bigger than the just over 2 inches of the hub and grease seal flange. All the trailer tires we carry that fit the 13-15 inch wheel with 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern will work with this hub.
