Installation of Powered 4-Way Trailer Connector and 7-Way Adapter on 2012 Toyota Sienna

How many wires and how heavy? do I need to run from my battery back to my hitch? Im using T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # 118498, which requires and includes a 12v line. Then I need power for my brake controller, and another line? if I want to charge my trailer battery. Do I need to run three heavy-gauge wires to my battery?

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118498 comes with a 12 gauge wire to power the module that will be run from your battery. If you are adding a 7-way trailer connector like # ETBC7 then you will also run two 10 gauge wires in a combined sheathing to the 7-way. Both of these wires will connect to the battery as well but one runs power to your trailer brake controller under your dash, and then that same wire in the sheathing will connect to the brake controller output and run to your 7-way. The other 10 gauge wire will run from your battery to the 7-way without any splicing or interruption. I've attached a video to assist. You then simply select the brake controller of your choice to connect to the wiring. I recommend the Prodigy P3 # 90195 because of the ease of use and adjustability.

I've attached a couple videos to assist with the installation.
