How does the system know what each tire pressure should be? For instance, 120psi for a truck tire, while 80psi for a trailer. So, that the driver can see warnings when different kinds of tire fall out of safe ranges.

You will program the required pressure parameters into the system during the setup procedure, which is outlined in the installation instructions I've linked for you, beginning on page 3 and 4.
