Adapter Needed When Towing Trailer that Has 7-way with Vehicle that has 4-way

Question:

I am renting a travel trailer that says it has a 6 pin flat plugin. My Ford Edge has a 4 pin flat plugin. Where can I find or make such an adapter? 6 pin flat doesnt seem to exist. Thanks.

A 6 pin flat connector is not a standard connection. Since this is a rental I would assume they meant a 7-way blade connector as that is the standard connector in the RV world. For a 4-way to 7-way adapter you'd just need the part # 37185 and you'd be set.

But if you are renting a Jayco and need a 6-way square you'd want the part # 30104.

Question:

Jameson C answered a question for me very well, but I need to opposite plugs than he recommended - part # 37185. I have the 4 way flat plug on the car and a7 way blade connector on the trailer. So you have an adapter for that situation? I could wire one from other parts you sell.

The # 37185 is designed for your situation where there's a 4-way on the tow vehicle that needs to connect to a 7-way on a trailer.
