Recommended Hitch Reducer for 3 Inch Receiver and Weight Distribution Hitch
Question:
I have a 2020 F-350 with a 3inch hitch opening and a 2inch weight distribution shank. Can I safely use 2 reducers? 3-2.5, and 2.5-2inch

I recommend using the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 which will give you an additional length of 3-7/8 inches from hitch pin hole to hitch pin hole. This allows using only one adapter and additional adapters may weaken the tongue weight of your trailer hitch so I don't recommend using two. This adapter is rated for a maximum tongue weight of 1,200 lbs.
